Hi, I’m Olivia.

An intelligent, empathic and creative storyteller, I’m as comfortable explaining the work of an Oxford particle physicist as communicating the experiences of hospital patients or the genius of a quirky small business. Expert in sparky ideas, sensitive interviewing, and delivering bright and beautiful words, to brief.

If you want genuinely engaging copy – the sort of writing you’d expect to see in a respected newsstand publication – you need to use an experienced, trained journalist. I love to apply my skills from years writing for the likes of Guardian Weekend, Sunday Telegraph Stella and Sunday Times Style.

Here’s what I do for my clients

  • Freelance copywriting, content writing, editing and strategy within the public and private sectors and for both SMEs and high-profile organisations and businesses
  • Planning and working across diverse forms of copy and content, including social media, blogs, website copy, branded copy, long-form features, video scripts, brochures, advertising copy, guidebooks, marketing briefs and press releases. I’m happy with CMS, SEO and analytics
  • Working freelance with agencies, including Scroll, Guardian Labs, Newscred, YBM, Outlook Creative & Entice Communications
  • Delivering acclaimed media & PR training, both bespoke and as workshops
