I’ve written travel pieces on all corners of the world – reporting on a flamenco dance holiday in Jerez, Spain (for Psychologies),  the thrilling dangers of the Pacific (for The Guardian) and a matchmaking festival in Ireland (for Easyjet’s magazine). I’ve written on New York’s child beauty salons for The Observer and on Bronte-obsessives on their annual pilgrimage to Haworth, Yorkshire, for the Sunday Telegraph.

The most memorable for me was going to Lithuania to trace my ancestors on a genealogy holiday for Psychologies – almost a time-travel adventure.
